Successful fundraising isn’t built on a single grant, one fundraising event, or a compelling ask. It’s built on a strong foundation. Organizations that raise funds consistently have clear programs, measurable outcomes, compelling messaging, meaningful relationships, practical systems, and a fundraising strategy that brings it all together.

That’s where this learning lab begins.

Fundraising Foundations is a six-week virtual learning lab for nonprofit leaders who are ready to move beyond piecing fundraising together and begin building a sustainable fundraising program.

By the end of six weeks, you’ll understand the core elements of a strong fundraising foundation and how to apply them within your organization.

Is this learning lab for you?

This learning lab is designed for nonprofit leaders who are building a fundraising program or strengthening one that already exists.

It may be a good fit if you:

• Lead a nonprofit in its first five years.
• Have applied for grants or hosted fundraisers, but the results have been inconsistent.
• Are building fundraising systems for the first time.
• Have little or no dedicated development staff.
• Find that fundraising depends on one leader, one grant, one event, or one donor.
• Are ready for a more intentional and sustainable approach.

• A clear understanding of your organization’s fundraising readiness.

Your registration includes:

• Six live 90-minute virtual learning sessions.
• Three individual one-on-one coaching sessions to work through your organization’s fundraising challenges, receive implementation support, and focus on the needs that are unique to your organization.
• Guided learning and time to apply each week’s concepts to your own work.
• Practical tools, templates, and implementation resources.
• Opportunities to learn alongside a small cohort of nonprofit leaders.
• Continued access to all resources shared during the series.

Your one-on-one coaching sessions

Every organization is different, and so is every fundraising journey.

Throughout the learning lab, you’ll receive three individual coaching sessions to help you:

• Talk through your organization’s fundraising challenges.
• Apply the learning to your programs, goals, and capacity.
• Receive support as you begin implementing your fundraising foundation.
• Ask questions and receive personalized feedback.
• Develop next steps that fit your organization’s goals.

These sessions are designed to help you move from learning to implementation with confidence.

Our learning approach

At EvolveTCF, we believe meaningful learning happens when people have the opportunity to ask questions, apply ideas in real time, and connect what they’re learning to their own work.

That’s why this learning lab is designed to be practical, interactive, and easy to engage with. Each session includes real-world examples, guided discussion, hands-on activities, and time to apply what you’re learning directly to your organization.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, work through real fundraising challenges, and learn alongside other nonprofit leaders who understand the realities of this work. Rather than leaving with pages of notes, you’ll leave each session with greater clarity and practical next steps you can begin putting into practice right away.

Participation is limited to 8 nonprofit leaders to create a learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, receive individualized support, and get what they need from the learning experience.
