Includes three live, one-on-one coaching sessions
You are doing the work. So why isn’t the money coming?
You’ve applied for grants, hosted fundraisers, shared your mission, and invited people to support your work.
You’re showing up.
Still, fundraising may feel inconsistent, exhausting, and difficult to sustain.
For many nonprofits, the challenge isn’t a lack of passion or commitment. It’s that no one has shown them how to build the foundation that successful fundraising depends on.
Successful fundraising isn’t built on one grant, one event, or one compelling ask. It depends on clear programs, measurable outcomes, strong messaging, meaningful relationships, practical systems, and a plan that brings everything together.
That’s where Fundraising Foundations begins.
This six-week on-demand course is for nonprofit leaders who are ready to move beyond piecing fundraising together and begin building a fundraising program they can actually sustain.
Each week, you’ll receive a recorded session that you can watch when it works for you. You can pause, take notes, complete the activities, and return to the material as needed.
You’ll also receive three live, one-on-one coaching sessions with Ronesha Jackson, Founder and Chief Leadership Officer of EvolveTCF. During these sessions, you’ll apply what you’re learning to the needs, goals, and capacity of your organization.
By the end of six weeks, you’ll understand the core elements of a strong fundraising foundation and have a clearer plan for strengthening yours.
Is this course for you?
Fundraising Foundations is designed for nonprofit leaders who are building a fundraising program or strengthening one that already exists.
It may be a good fit if you:
- Lead a nonprofit in its first five years.
- Have applied for grants or hosted fundraisers, but the results have been inconsistent.
- Are building fundraising systems for the first time.
- Have little or no dedicated development staff.
- Find that fundraising depends too heavily on one leader, one grant, one event, or one donor.
- Are unsure which parts of your fundraising foundation need attention first.
- Need practical guidance that reflects your organization’s current capacity.
- Want to learn on your own schedule while still receiving personalized support.
What you’ll work toward
Throughout the course, you’ll develop:
- A clearer understanding of your organization’s fundraising readiness.
- Stronger language for communicating your mission, programs, and impact.
- A practical case for support.
- A strategy for building relationships with donors, funders, sponsors, and community partners.
- Foundational systems that support fundraising and donor stewardship.
- A 12-month fundraising roadmap.
- Greater clarity about where to focus your time, energy, and resources.
- Practical tools and templates you can begin using right away.
How the course works
After you register, you’ll receive access to the first recorded session. A new session will be provided each week for six weeks.
There are no scheduled group classes to attend. You can watch each session when your schedule allows and move through the activities at a pace that supports your learning.
Each session focuses on one part of building a sustainable fundraising program. Throughout the course, you’ll be invited to pause, reflect, and apply what you’re learning directly to your organization.
You’ll also schedule three live, one-on-one coaching sessions. These conversations give you space to ask questions, talk through challenges, and receive support that is specific to your organization.
What’s included
Your registration includes:
- Six recorded learning sessions provided over six weeks.
- The flexibility to watch, pause, and revisit each session on your own schedule.
- Three live, one-on-one coaching sessions focused on your organization’s fundraising needs.
- Guided reflections and activities to help you apply what you’re learning.
- Practical tools, templates, and implementation resources.
- Continued access to the resources shared throughout the course.
Your one-on-one coaching sessions
Every organization is different, and so is every fundraising journey.
Your three live coaching sessions are where we connect the course content to what is happening inside your organization.
You can use this time to:
- Talk through a fundraising challenge.
- Apply the learning to your programs, goals, and capacity.
- Review your fundraising systems, messaging, or plans.
- Ask questions and receive personalized feedback.
- Decide what to prioritize now and what can wait.
- Develop next steps that are realistic for your organization.
These sessions are designed to help you move from understanding the material to putting it into practice.
Our learning approach
At EvolveTCF, we know nonprofit leaders are balancing fundraising with programs, staff needs, board responsibilities, community relationships, and the day-to-day work of keeping an organization moving.
This course is designed with that reality in mind.
You’ll receive clear explanations, nonprofit-specific examples, guided activities, and practical tools. You can pause when you need more time, return to a section when you’re ready, and use your coaching sessions to work through the places where you need more support.
The goal isn’t for you to finish with pages of notes and more work you don’t know how to begin. The goal is for you to understand what sustainable fundraising requires, identify what your organization already has in place, and take practical next steps toward building what is missing.
